What you will do

• Operate fork trucks and related equipment to load and move materials throughout the facility.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met by strictly following safety regulations and avoiding hazards.
• Perform routine operator maintenance and pre-use inspections on fork trucks.
• Coordinate machine actions with team members using hand or audio signals.
• Locate materials accurately using project numbers and piecemarks.

Requirements

• Must be a current employee of the Crest Family of Companies.
• Clear Motor Vehicle Report required.
• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
• Ability to perform basic operator maintenance on fork trucks.
• Must complete on-site training and demonstrate safe operation of machinery.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery, such as forklifts.
• Working knowledge of material handling, banding, palletizing, and loading onto trucks.
