What you will do

• Excavate, farm, load, unload, and process bituminous waste coal fines and coarse waste coal.
• Operate front-end loaders, bulldozers, track excavators, water trucks, dump trucks, pumps, and supporting equipment.
• Excavate and store clay, place and compact ash, grade sites, mix soil, and establish vegetative cover.
• Service mobile equipment and perform required mechanical maintenance and site upkeep.
• Monitor waste coal quality through sampling, top sizing, and tramp-material control.
• Maintain compliance with MSHA safety standards and environmental requirements, including dust, erosion, sedimentation, and water treatment controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five to 10 years of experience in surface mining or surface reclamation.
• Thorough understanding of heavy equipment operation and mine-site reclamation activities.
• Ability to monitor and record fuel-site activities and communicate problems to management.
• Ability to work onsite at the Scrubgrass location in Russelton, Pennsylvania, USA.
