What you will do

• Provide immediate treatment and transport of patients to appropriate medical facilities.
• Operate MHS-West vehicles safely in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Lead ambulance shifts and provide clinical guidance to PCPs and EMRs.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, including stocking and equipment checks.
• Create and maintain detailed electronic patient care reports (ePCRs).
• Participate in community education and public awareness programs.

Requirements

• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2, or 4.
• CPR certification and FARE Certificate.
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCP’s.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Physical ability to lift heavy patients and work in hazardous environments or extreme weather.
