Salary: $9,320.17 - $14,537.58 CAD Monthly

What you will do

• Provide primary health care, both virtually and in-person, for the hirify.global student population.
• Conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic categorizations using DSM-5.
• Collaborate with family physicians, specialist physicians, and counselling services to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent or emergent medical calls outside regular clinic hours.
• Lead group health sessions and promote health education across various hirify.global departments.
• Act as a student advocate to protect and promote the client's right to autonomy, privacy, and dignity.

Requirements

• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner degree.
• Registered with the BCCNM as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Covered by Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS) professional liability protection.
• Comprehensive knowledge of adolescent and young adult health issues, including mental health disorders.
• Proven ability to provide competent and culturally safe care for diverse populations.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the hirify.global Vancouver Campus.

Nice to have

• Experience working in acute or outpatient mental health settings.
• Experience working within a post-secondary institution or other multicultural settings.
