Salary: $9,320.17 - $14,537.58 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Provide primary health care, both virtually and in-person, for the student population.
- Conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic categorizations using DSM-5.
- Collaborate with family physicians, specialist physicians, and counselling services to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in on-call rotations for urgent or emergent medical calls outside regular clinic hours.
- Lead group health sessions and promote health education across various departments.
- Act as a student advocate to protect and promote the client's right to autonomy, privacy, and dignity.
Requirements
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner degree.
- Registered with the BCCNM as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Covered by Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS) professional liability protection.
- Comprehensive knowledge of adolescent and young adult health issues, including mental health disorders.
- Proven ability to provide competent and culturally safe care for diverse populations.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Vancouver Campus.
Nice to have
- Experience working in acute or outpatient mental health settings.
- Experience working within a post-secondary institution or other multicultural settings.
