What you will do

• Set up and operate 5-axis and 6-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce complex defense components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to ensure part accuracy.
• Perform precision quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
• Adjust machine parameters, tooling, and offsets for optimal production efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with DoD and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve production issues and meet delivery schedules.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of defense contract work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Associate’s degree or CNC Machining Technology certification.
• Proficiency in G-code, M-code, and shop mathematics.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime and weekends.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in defense manufacturing.
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Experience with Fanuc or Siemens CNC controls.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or TPM principles.
