TL;DR
Mechatronics Engineer (Systems Integration): Designing, developing, integrating, and testing mechatronics modules and system-level solutions for advanced lithography systems with an accent on requirements management, control theory, structural dynamics, and vibrational analysis. Focus on coordinating cross-functional interfaces, solving technically uncertain design challenges, and producing verification evidence for release readiness.
Location: On-site in Wilton, Connecticut, United States. The role may require up to 10% domestic and international travel and access to controlled technology under United States export regulations.

What you will do
- Define, analyze, document, and manage technical requirements, specifications, interfaces, and verification criteria.
- Develop mechatronics concepts and design solutions while balancing performance, cost, schedule, safety, and compliance.
- Coordinate system and product integration across engineering functions, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Plan and execute verification and validation activities, improve test methods, and support qualification and release readiness.
- Plan work, estimate effort, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver technical work packages or projects.
- Maintain technical documentation, share knowledge, and coach peers according to role level while following EHS policies.
Requirements
- BS degree in a technical field; experience requirements range from 2+ years for JG07 to 8+ years for JG09.
- Experience with mechatronics engineering, technical requirements, specifications, interface management, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of control theory, structural dynamics, mechanical design, and vibrational analysis.
- Ability to plan verification and validation, resolve complex technical issues, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before starting work.
- Ability to work on-site in Wilton and perform routine campus movement; occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
Nice to have
- MSc or PhD in a technical field.
- Experience leading complex module or system-level designs and guiding peers through technical execution.
