Systems Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel and remote or onsite support for field personnel as required.

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to establish subsystem requirements and ensure alignment with market requirements.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluate design approaches, and guide subsystem architecture selection.
• Analyze, build, qualify, and test prototypes or externally sourced subsystems against detailed specifications.
• Support system integration, assembly, final product testing, and reliability testing.
• Identify and resolve engineering issues involving serviceability, manufacturability, and mixed electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithm, and software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with systems thinking, requirements analysis, architecture definition, testing, and subsystem integration.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
