Salary: $385,000 - $460,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of 2-6+ product designers, providing coaching and career development.
• Define and execute the strategic direction and UI/UX of AI tools with high attention to detail.
• Partner with engineering and AI researchers to design interactions for emerging capabilities.
• Rapidly prototype concepts using code and other methods to communicate visions.
• Establish design quality standards and reusable frameworks to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape product roadmaps and overall strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and coaching product designers.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end digital product design and UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle (hybrid policy: 25%+ in-office).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of product design experience, with 2+ years in a lead or management role.
• Ability to prototype with front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Experience using AI tools like Claude Code in a design workflow.
