Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage and develop supplier performance in quality and process control using metrics like DPPM, PPAP, and 8D.
• Provide technical and quality support during the sourcing and NPI project execution stages.
• Conduct audits and assessments of new suppliers using SESPA tools and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review PPAP documentation and perform full inspections of samples at supplier sites to ensure first-submission approval.
• Deploy quality tools including FMEA, control plans, MSA, and SPC to optimize supplier processes.
• Lead and deliver training to suppliers regarding process, product, and EHS requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Casting is highly preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing or supply chain functions.
• At least 2 years of experience in casting techniques or foundry work.
• Must be based in or work on-site in Zibo, China.
• Good spoken and written English proficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
