What you will do

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for 50–500+ employees.
• Manage end-to-end payroll using platforms such as ADP, Gusto, Paychex, or BambooHR.
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries in accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• File federal, state, and local payroll taxes and maintain audit-ready records.
• Reconcile healthcare, retirement, and employee benefit deductions.
• Generate headcount reports and analyze payroll variances for leadership.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or payroll accounting.
• Must be based in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica.
• Hands-on experience with ADP, Gusto, Paychex, or similar payroll platforms.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience preparing payroll journal entries and account reconciliations.

Nice to have

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
• Experience managing multi-state or international payroll.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Workday, or Zenefits.
