What you will do

• Prepare and process domestic and international payroll while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, including timesheets and employee deductions.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare necessary journal entries for the General Ledger.
• Partner with HR to ensure seamless and accurate employee data synchronization in the payroll system.
• Analyze financial data and provide detailed explanations for variances to enhance process efficiency.
• Assist with audits by providing required documentation to external auditors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Payroll and Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Must be based in Mexico City to support the hybrid office schedule.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
