Principal Security & Compliance Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. In-person onboarding and/or in-person ID verification may be required.

Salary: $125,000 – $183,700

What you will do

• Support compliance efforts for key products to ensure adherence to hirify.global standards and regulatory certifications.
• Integrate new products and services into compliance programs through rapid gap assessments and policy alignment.
• Scale and transform repeatable tasks into streamlined, event-driven compliance using AI-driven workflows.
• Evaluate new compliance frameworks and develop remediation plans to address identified gaps.
• Provide expert support for SOC2, SOC1, ISO27001, SOX, PCI, and FedRAMP programs.
• Mentor junior team members and present compliance roadmaps to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in security compliance or information security with a strong technical background.
• In-depth knowledge of frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must be available for in-person onboarding and identity verification in Canada.
