  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another STEM field.
  • At least 5 years of professional modeling and simulation experience.
  • Professional development experience with Rust, C++, or a similar compiled language, plus scientific Python, Julia, MATLAB, or equivalent.
  • Ability to own complex systems end-to-end and guide the work of other engineers.

Nice to have

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant STEM discipline.
  • Mission-level or campaign-level modeling and simulation experience for defense or national security applications.
  • Production Rust, simulation system design, Monte Carlo methods, probability and statistics, linear algebra, controls, or orbital mechanics experience.
  • Experience with space communications modeling, RF, ground stations, Linux, electronics, computer architecture, or CI/CD systems.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced environment at a Series C space startup with multiple launches planned through 2026 and 2027.
