Salary: $156,000 - $186,000

What you will do

• Build and support in-house simulation services for business development, mission design, and flight software engineering teams.
• Collaborate with physical-modeling experts to integrate numerical models into complete software products.
• Implement improvements to simulation tools based on feedback from internal client teams.
• Work closely with the Software Test team to apply simulation tools to testing scenarios.
• Contribute to work estimation and technical planning to ensure team success against performance metrics.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, National, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee) due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with numerical simulation techniques and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of the Julia language.
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and Docker containers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud deployment, and CI/CD DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation and orbital satellite operations.
