Software Engineer (Space Simulation)

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, plus 0.01%–0.05% equity

hirify.global develops the Otter satellite servicing vehicle for satellite life extension and disposal missions in geostationary and low Earth orbits.

What you will do

• Build space environment simulation software and infrastructure for autonomous satellite servicing missions.
• Develop cloud infrastructure supporting simulation and autonomous software refinement.
• Automate simulation analysis and evaluation workflows.
• Support integrations with satellite compute hardware.
• Contribute to software for autonomous rendezvous, proximity operations, and orbital docking.

Requirements

• Must be a US person, including a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or person eligible for the required ITAR authorizations.
• Willingness to work from Tukwila, Washington in a hybrid arrangement.
• Software development education or experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• Working knowledge of Python and C++.
• Previous experience with numerical simulations.

Nice to have

• B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
