Senior Construction Project Manager (Solar Energy)

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual cash bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the planning, design, construction, and closeout of assigned renewable energy projects.
• Own project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, risk registers, reporting, and lifecycle cost management.
• Coordinate project engineers, supply chain and logistics teams, finance and administrative staff, construction managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Lead subcontractor and supplier kickoffs, negotiate subcontracts, and manage change orders.
• Conduct site audits and oversee compliance with safety, quality, construction, and electrical requirements.
• Act as the primary representative for customers, permitting agencies, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience, including 4+ years with solar energy, community solar, or utility wind energy projects.
• Experience with an EPC, construction management consulting, engineering, or construction contractor organization.
• Experience leading complex internal and external teams and managing EPC contracts and subcontracts.
• Strong construction project management, supervisory, analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with construction and electrical codes and the ability to procure and oversee subcontracted construction functions.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred. Must be eligible to work in the United States without non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

• General contractor’s license.
