TL;DR
AI Engineer (Python/LLM): Building and deploying AI-enabled systems, LLM applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud solutions for Central Services with an accent on practical automation, scalability, security, and responsible AI. Focus on identifying high-impact use cases, translating business needs into MVPs, and delivering maintainable solutions across Finance, Legal, HR, and other departments.

What you will do
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases across Central Services.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end AI solutions, including LLM applications, agents, automation tools, backend services, APIs, and cloud deployments.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define scope, roadmaps, MVPs, and success criteria.
- Translate business requirements and technical constraints into pragmatic solutions and clear trade-offs.
- Monitor solution performance and adoption, iterate based on feedback, and develop reusable AI tooling and standards.
- Support secure, transparent, compliant, and responsible AI usage.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience as a software or AI engineer.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI-powered tools or products, including LLM applications, agents, copilots, or workflow automations.
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Experience working directly with internal clients, business users, or senior stakeholders in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Background in startups or product-driven environments.
- Fluency in another European language.
- Experience in the private equity industry.
