Python AI Engineer

TL;DR

Python AI Engineer (Python/LLM): Building backend services and AI extraction workflows for healthcare, insurance, and dental management products with an accent on structured model outputs, evaluation harnesses, and deterministic validation. Location: Remote from anywhere in the world, or onsite from offices in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain typed, testable Python backend services, including asynchronous code.
• Build AI and LLM extraction workflows with prompt design, schema-constrained outputs, and structured result handling.
• Develop evaluation harnesses against verified ground-truth datasets and improve model accuracy field by field.
• Implement deterministic post-processing and validation logic for model outputs.
• Build scraping and automation flows for external portals and support integration-heavy insurance and dental workflows.
• Contribute to voice-agent workflows, technical discussions, deployments, and infrastructure decisions involving Azure and Docker.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering experience with Python, including asynchronous programming and typed, testable modules.
• Practical experience with LLM integrations, prompt engineering, AI workflow evaluation, and tool/function calling or JSON Schema outputs.
• Experience measuring and improving model accuracy against ground-truth datasets.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL-based systems.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure and Docker-based deployments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright or other web-scraping tools.
• Exposure to voice-agent technologies such as Ultravox, Twilio, or LiveKit.
• Experience with React.
• Background in healthcare, dental, or insurance systems.
