What you will do

• Design and maintain Python microservices for conversational AI, document management, and reporting.
• Build AI features including intent classification, semantic search, multi-turn conversational workflows, and LLM integrations.
• Develop document processing services supporting file storage, parsing, embeddings generation, indexing, and retrieval.
• Create reporting functionality for ad-hoc querying, scheduled execution, and export to CSV/PDF.
• Optimize PostgreSQL data models, complex queries, and asynchronous database interactions.
• Contribute to microservice architecture, event-driven designs, and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Python experience in production environments.
• Strong expertise in FastAPI, async request handling, and Pydantic v2.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (boto3, S3, Bedrock, Lambda, or EventBridge).
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous Python (asyncio, asyncpg, or SQLAlchemy async).
• Proven experience with PostgreSQL, including complex SQL and performance optimization.
• Experience with Docker, pytest, and microservice architectures.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant).
• Experience with LLM technologies (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, or LlamaIndex).
• Knowledge of pandas and document parsing tools (PyPDF, python-docx).
• Capability to review and navigate Go code.
