What you will do

• Manage internal and external customer quality issues and prepare formal complaint responses via the ETQ system.
• Analyze and report monthly quality manufacturing data to management and participate in CI teams to meet annual goals.
• Lead the plant through SQF systems audits and manage internal HACCP teams for the De Soto location.
• Oversee day-to-day administration of ETQ and X-rite computerized color control systems.
• Collaborate with press supervisors and pre-press departments to troubleshoot and solve sheet-fed press issues.
• Travel to customer facilities to evaluate quality issues related to printing and cup forming operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality, food, food packaging, or printing sectors.
• Extensive background in statistical process control (SPC) and strong mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and SPC software systems.
• Must be able to work onsite in De Soto, KS, USA.
