What you will do

• Oversee quality control activities across products and manufacturing processes.
• Perform part inspections using prints, gauges, and other inspection tools to identify non-conformities.
• Manage calibration of tools and gauges in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, procedures, non-conformance reports, corrective action requests, and scrap reports.
• Coordinate quarantine of defective parts and materials and provide quality feedback to production teams.
• Handle parts and materials safely using manual methods, cranes, lifting devices, and forklifts.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma; a technical or administrative college degree is preferred.
• Minimum five years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read part prints and use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, bore gauges, and similar tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn, work extended hours when required, and routinely lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 9001.
• Experience with SAP.
• College or university degree in a technical or administrative field.
