What you will do

• Install, test, and commission medical gas pipeline systems in hospitals and healthcare environments.
• Perform pre-commissioning tests and execute final connections of piped gas systems.
• Interpret and work from mechanical services drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with HTM 02-01 and ISO 7396-1 standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and hospital staff to ensure project delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical gas pipeline installation or a similar mechanical engineering field.
• Valid MGPS Competent Person (CP) or Authorised Person (AP) certification (HTM 02-01).
• Strong understanding of HTM 02-01 and ISO 7396-1 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally to various sites.

• Relevant health & safety certifications such as SSSTS, PASMA, or IPAF.
