Senior Process Engineer (Biotech)

What you will do

• Support biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations and maintain equipment and utilities.
• Lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of engineering projects to optimize cost, time, and yield.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP and safety requirements throughout all project phases.
• Perform installation qualification (IQ) and provide SME support for deviations, audits, and inspections.
• Mentor junior engineers and trainees while collaborating with Production, Quality, and MSAT departments.
• Provide 24/7 on-call troubleshooting support for manufacturing campaigns.

Requirements

• Degree or MSc in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the biotech sector.
• Business fluency in both English and Spanish.
• SME-level knowledge of mammalian unit operations (CIP/SIP, Chromatography, UFDF, Bioreactors).
• Proven experience in Project Management within an industrial environment.
• Expertise in fluid processing, including pumps, valves, and piping systems.
