Manager IT Production Operations

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto, Canada; the role will move from 483 Bay Street to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 152,000–176,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead a 24/7 production operations team responsible for monitoring infrastructure, applications, data pipelines, and file transfer processes.
• Own workload automation, batch processing, and managed file transfer platforms, including Control-M, Control-M MFT, and GoAnywhere MFT.
• Oversee incident response, runbook execution, escalation, operational recovery, and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate production readiness, release schedules, maintenance windows, monitoring validation, and operational support models.
• Manage data centre operations, infrastructure changes, IMAC activities, vendor engagements, access controls, and physical infrastructure incidents.
• Maintain operational governance, track availability and SLA metrics, support audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Hands-on experience with workload automation and batch processing platforms.
• Experience operating managed file transfer platforms in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of secure data transfer protocols, incident response, and operational recovery.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, decision-making, and cross-team collaboration skills.
