Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; office environment.

Salary: CAD 112,657.00–158,875.20 per year.

What you will do

• Manage engineers and technicians developing, testing, modifying, and improving products and systems.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate Engineering Department activities while efficiently allocating team resources.
• Collaborate with management, production, and marketing on project specifications, procedures, schedules, and feasibility.
• Support new part and system designs, redesigns, engineering calculations, and performance, quality, and manufacturability improvements.
• Analyze quality issues and test results, identify failure root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit, assign, evaluate, and develop engineering employees while supporting department budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work in an office environment and sit for extended periods.
