Team Lead, Engineering

Location: Remote – Canada

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution and delivery outcomes for a multidisciplinary software engineering team.
• Allocate engineering resources and collaborate with business stakeholders to align priorities with business objectives.
• Define, implement, and improve best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Design and develop software applications from business and technical specifications.
• Develop and execute unit, component, and integration tests while maintaining coding standards and test coverage targets.
• Investigate technical issues, manage delivery risks, and collaborate on solution design and technical direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven technical leadership experience with multidisciplinary onshore and offshore teams.
• Experience with multiple software development languages.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and design principles.
• Experience designing relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, accountability, and organizational skills.
