What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs for advanced optical platforms with demanding density, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
• Create mechanical parts, assemblies, engineering documentation, and manage design databases.
• Present technical reviews, identify risks, and coordinate design delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Apply DFMA methods, support volume manufacturing, and evaluate first samples and prototype assemblies.
• Support sustaining engineering, cost reduction, field issue assessment, and supplier root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in telecom, datacom, or electro-optics.
• Experience with CAD software, including Creo Parametric.
• Experience designing sheet metal, machined, die-cast, and plastic injection-molded components.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hardware development processes, design databases, and project management practices.
• Strong cross-functional communication, analytical problem-solving, and attention to engineering design and documentation quality.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
