What you will do

• Design battery systems and subsystems, including HV batteries, BMS, battery packs, modules, charging systems, and electrified powertrains.
• Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, architecture, allocation, and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate integration, verification, and validation activities, including test planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and final acceptance.
• Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, project, and customer teams to integrate systems and transfer designs into production.
• Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-facing system clarifications.
• Identify complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support risk assessments.

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma or Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, energy, automotive engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in battery systems, electrification systems, energy storage systems, automotive systems engineering, or a related area.
• Experience with requirements engineering, system integration, verification, and validation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Business-fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with battery development projects or high-voltage systems.
