What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset transactions to ensure policy compliance.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within strict timelines.
• Ensure all financial records adhere to U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SOX controls.
• Support the NetSuite ERP reimplementation by gathering requirements and tracking project deliverables.
• Perform data cleansing and validation of financial statement integrations to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve accounting operations and processes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting or public accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP is required.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA Canada or U.S. CPA) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work onsite in Waterloo, Ontario.
