What you will do

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process, including GL review and internal reporting.
• Manage corporate AR and AP operations with a focus on accuracy, cash flow, and vendor trust.
• Act as a product partner by testing new features and providing actionable feedback to the product team.
• Lead and develop the corporate accounting team, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
• Design and monitor internal controls to ensure GAAP/ASPE compliance.
• Champion AI adoption within the accounting function to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• CPA designation required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in people management
• Deep hands-on experience in both AP and AR operations
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP/ASPE and Canadian indirect tax
• Experience with ERP systems like Sage Intacct or NetSuite
• Must be based in Canada

• Experience in the technology/SaaS industry
• Experience with procurement or spend management platforms
• US state sales tax experience
