What you will do

• Monitor and manage real estate debt assets to preserve and enhance client value.
• Analyse financial performance, covenant compliance, borrower statements, budgets, and financial models.
• Oversee loan servicing activities, including servicer coordination, consents, reports, and valuations.
• Conduct borrower meetings and site visits while assessing operational, ESG, and environmental risks.
• Identify performance deterioration, engage borrowers, and implement remedial actions for challenging or stressed assets.
• Prepare portfolio updates, quarterly reviews, focus lists, deep-dive analyses, and support loan amendments and wider portfolio initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in asset management, loan servicing, and credit risk within a bank, financial institution, or intermediary.
• Knowledge of real estate debt lending, ideally senior debt, including real estate transactions across the UK and Europe.
• Working knowledge of legal documentation such as loan facilities, certificates of title, and leases.
• Understanding of real estate valuations, leases, technical due diligence, environmental factors, flood risk, and ESG.
• Strong numerical and data-handling skills, including credit risk analysis and financial model sensitisation.
• Ability to manage competing workstreams, engage stakeholders, present to Investment Committees, and make decisions on the real estate debt loan book.
