What you will do

• Evaluate derivatives and financing transactions across Counterparty Credit Risk to ensure appropriate risk mitigants are in place.
• Perform fundamental credit analysis to assess the financial strength of hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds.
• Approve transactions and opine on risk mitigation for fixed income funding, equity derivatives, prime brokerage, and swaps.
• Conduct counterparty reviews, recommend internal risk ratings, and establish risk appetite limits.
• Prepare and present materials and recommendations for management and regulatory interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred; CFA is advantageous.
• 3-6 years of experience in a market-facing or risk (1st or 2nd line) role.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, including derivatives and funding products.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to deliver on strict timelines and requirements.
• Experience managing junior team members is preferable.
