Clinical Systems Analyst, Sr

Location: Medical Office Building-Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX, United States. Onsite, first shift, 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, test, install, maintain, and optimize clinical applications and related information technologies.
• Investigate clinical and business processes, data flows, communications, tasks, and transactions across the integrated delivery system.
• Modify applications, define reports, prepare statistical summaries, and support application upgrades.
• Diagnose software and technology failures, resolve application issues, analyze trends, and monitor system effectiveness.
• Coordinate support requests and act as a liaison among Information Services, clinical users, patient care departments, vendors, and technical specialists.
• Recommend workflow and process changes and perform quality control of application implementations and enhancements before release.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, or a related science field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• At least 5 years of experience with clinical software, hardware technology, or databases, including designing, configuring, training, or implementing clinical system applications.
• Ability to develop expertise across at least two clinical and business application areas.

Nice to have

• Clinical engineering experience with Philips Patient Monitoring.
• Experience overseeing integrations with EHR applications.
• Strong knowledge of the Philips Patient Monitoring platform.
