Automation Lead Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement automation for recurring incidents, service requests, and operational processes.
• Transform manual operational tasks into scalable, governed automated workflows.
• Collaborate with Platform Operations, SRE, and Service Management teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, deployment automation, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility while contributing to self-healing and auto-remediation initiatives.
• Apply software engineering practices and mentor engineers through knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Automation Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Python, Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring, incident management, testing, version control, peer reviews, and modern platform engineering practices.
• English communication skills at B2 level or higher; work from the European Union region and a valid work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI within the software development lifecycle through defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations.
• Familiarity with agent-based workflows, AI-augmented development, and emerging automation practices.
