Lead Engineer - Azure | Cloud Solutions

Location: Budapest, Hungary. Hybrid work with three days per week in the office and two remote days.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the daily work of the Cloud Engineering team.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation, including Terraform modules and Python-based platform tooling.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable and scalable infrastructure delivery.
• Provide technical expertise in Azure architecture, networking, RBAC/PIM, policies, and PaaS services.
• Collaborate with security, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver stable and compliant cloud solutions.
• Coach team members, provide feedback, and maintain strong documentation and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Leadership or coordination experience in a cloud engineering or DevOps environment.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, RBAC/PIM, policies, and PaaS services.
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud architecture best practices, including the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with agile or Kanban ways of working and team facilitation.
• Fluent or professional Hungarian and English are required.
