Linux Administrator (Ops)

Location: Remote from Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, Serbia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Dubai, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, or Bulgaria. Flexible start time before 12:00 pm EET/EEST.

What you will do

• Administer Ubuntu Linux servers across development and production environments.
• Maintain PostgreSQL, Greenplum, KeyDB, ClickHouse, and Kafka infrastructure, including performance and reliability troubleshooting.
• Configure and support Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm-based deployments.
• Automate operational tasks with Ansible, Python, Bash, and other scripting languages.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, improve reliability, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support development teams and coordinate infrastructure changes, hardware provisioning, and security-related work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, system services, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Greenplum, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Practical scripting skills with Python and/or Bash, plus experience with monitoring, logging, and profiling using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Fluent Russian at C2 level or higher for team communication.
• English at B1+ level for technical documentation and written communication.

Nice to have

• DBA experience, Patroni, or experience supporting high-load and distributed production systems.
• Experience with AWS, OpenStack, PCI DSS, PHP, Go, or Chef.
