What you will do

• Develop and maintain networking gear and uploaders at garage facilities.
• Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices across active deployment sites.
• Build on-prem data processing applications in C++ and Python for real-time operational data.
• Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle telemetry and dashcam images, managing upload flows to cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability.
• Develop automation tools in Python and Bash to streamline on-prem operations and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing on-prem infrastructure, bare metal systems, and physical networking environments.
• Proficiency in C++ including standard library, multithreading, and socket/WebSocket implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and operational scripting.
• Hands-on experience physically configuring servers and network hardware.
• Experience managing software deployment pipelines to physical devices or embedded systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or operationally deployed technology environments.
• Background in embedded systems or edge computing with C++ data processing applications.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 or robotic software deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting for on-prem systems and network infrastructure.
