What you will do

• Collaborate with hardware teams on vehicle compute and network implementation.
• Manage OS and software delivery into the autonomous vehicle fleet.
• Diagnose vehicle compute, networks, and sensors as needed.
• Implement and maintain high-volume data pipelines to transfer data from vehicles.
• Build tools and infrastructure to support vehicle development.
• Participate in the on-call program to ensure stable vehicle operations.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of computer/network hardware and on-premise servers.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience building and running Docker containers.
• Must be based in or near Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.

Nice to have

• Experience with rugged wireless technologies (LTE/5G modems) and scale-out storage.
• Knowledge of AWS, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Go, Rust, or C++ ecosystems.
• Experience with automated OS image building for physical deployments.
• Ability to travel occasionally within the United States.
