Senior IT Auditor (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Senior IT Auditor (Cybersecurity): Strengthening technology and data risk environments by leading end-to-end technology audit assignments with an accent on IT General Controls (ITGC) and risk assessment. Focus on identifying system vulnerabilities, optimizing IT controls across business lines, and delivering strategic insights to senior stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in Manchester (preferred), London, or Hamburg. Requires visiting other Business Units in the EMEA region 4-5 times per year.

What you will do

• Lead and deliver end-to-end technology audit assignments across the Group.
• Assess IT controls across all business lines to ensure robustness and efficiency.
• Identify technical risks and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to shape technology risk approaches.
• Support and implement data-driven audit methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT audit and IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Deep knowledge of change management, access control, infrastructure, and disaster recovery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to technology risk.
• Must be based in Manchester, London, or Hamburg and able to work in a hybrid model (1-2 days/week in office).
