What you will do

• Design control systems for industrial automation equipment starting from the concept stage.
• Collaborate with clients and project design teams to develop control system design specifications.
• Select and manage automation contractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Review and provide critical feedback on system integrator and vendor design documentation.
• Research and integrate the latest automation technology trends into projects.
• Attend and oversee control system hardware and software Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics systems, Mechatronics, Automation/Controls Technology or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in industrial automation.
• Proven experience in software development and the design of Industrial Control Systems (PLC/DCS).
• Knowledge of software architectures and standards including S88, GAMP, and 21CFRPart 11.
• Proficiency with industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet APL).
• Strong understanding of Panel drawings and P&IDs.

Nice to have

• Project experience within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sectors.
