What you will do

• Lead a platform engineering team, driving roadmaps for efficient CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and internal tooling.
• Create a cohesive "one-stop shop" developer experience by integrating SRE capabilities into a single, self-service interface.
• Define right-sized architecture patterns and templates to enable engineering teams to self-serve infrastructure decisions.
• Lead the development of AI-powered platform tooling, including agent-based workflows for complex platform changes.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Product teams to prioritize high-impact platform investments based on developer feedback.
• Coach and develop engineers, fostering a high-accountability culture of end-to-end ownership and fast iteration.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience managing software engineers or serving in a technical program management role.
• 3-5 years of hands-on software engineering experience (e.g., Go, Python) building developer productivity tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies including Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed systems.
• Experience with capacity planning and designing scalable architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with SRE practices and the ability to automate support and operational workflows.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) for planning, execution, and technical writing.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and agent-based workflows.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for integration into team workflows.
