What you will do

• Lead, coach, and provide professional growth opportunities for one or more Platform teams.
• Drive the strategic direction for infrastructure, ensuring robust management of GKE clusters and operational excellence.
• Embed SRE principles across the organization, including defining SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and enhancing observability.
• Own the developer-facing platform, creating golden paths and self-service infrastructure for independent service operation.
• Ensure cloud environments remain secure and compliant with SOC2 and ISO-27001 standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading teams in infrastructure and SRE domains with a track record of scaling platforms.
• Deep expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Crossplane).
• Experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
• Strong understanding of complex infrastructure architecture and incident management.
• Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the UK
