TL;DR
Senior Financial Accountant (Finance): Taking full ownership of Spanish General Ledger Accounting and ensuring accurate financial reporting under IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC) with an accent on process optimization and financial closing. Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (3 days on-site per week)

What you will do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC).
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze complex accounting matters to ensure high-quality financial statements.
- Document, develop, and ensure compliance with finance processes and controls.
- Support the implementation and continuous optimization of ERP and finance systems.
- Identify and implement AI tools to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with international Finance teams and share knowledge to develop workflows.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting.
- Solid experience preparing standalone financial statements under IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC).
- Understanding of group structures and experience with fast-close processes.
- Very good written and spoken Spanish and English skills; good knowledge of German.
- Competence in effectively using AI tools to increase productivity.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable finance systems.
