Focus on analyzing production variances, identifying cost-saving opportunities, reconciling inventory, and supporting budgeting and forecasting.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overheads, and analyze variances.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Support plant controllers and business partners with production-cost, raw-material, and operating-expense analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to manufacturing-process optimization.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to gather data for cost analysis.
- Monitor inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing costs.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proven cost-accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and finance-policy compliance.
- Strong ERP skills; Oracle Fusion knowledge is preferred.
- Fluent English required; German is preferred.
