What you will do

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overheads while analyzing variances.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles for cost accounts.
• Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX policies.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate valuation.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs.

Requirements

• BS or BA Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Fluent in English required; German language preferred.
• Strong ERP skills, with Oracle Fusion knowledge preferred.
