(Senior) Accountant Fixed Assets (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Own ongoing fixed asset accounting for multiple legal entities.
• Record, capitalize, transfer, dispose of, and depreciate fixed assets in line with accounting standards.
• Ensure correct fixed asset accounting treatment under HGB and IFRS.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation.
• Reconcile fixed asset accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate asset records through inventories.
• Support investment projects, work with auditors and tax advisors, and optimize accounting processes through digitalization.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally with Certified Accountant (IHK) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in fixed asset accounting.
• Good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of investment and CAPEX processes, fixed asset management, and inventories.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
