What you will do

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems for medical devices ensuring compliance with IEC 60601 standards.
• Create detailed specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Perform system-level integration of hardware, firmware, and software components.
• Conduct risk assessments and root cause investigations for electrical issues to implement corrective actions.
• Utilize DRM, 3D printing, and Augmented Reality to develop best-in-class manufacturing technologies.
• Lead technology process innovations to improve quality and reduce variation through automated systems.

Requirements

• Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be based in or able to work in Galway, Ireland.
• Knowledge of electronics-based medical device processes and product design.
• Fluent English proficiency.
