What you will do

• Apply human performance methodologies to the design of human-machine systems.
• Support the full product lifecycle including user needs identification, task analysis, and usability testing.
• Design and execute user research to simulate product use for concept selection and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize human-machine interfaces.
• Perform theoretical human factors investigations and implement research plans to mitigate technological risks.
• Conduct post-launch outcomes analysis to ensure continuous product improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
• Strong oral and written technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of human factors/usability engineering principles and tools.
• Experience with Figma for creating interactive graphical prototypes.
• Experience designing and validating software human-computer interfaces.
• Familiarity with product development processes based on IEC 62366.
• Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
