Salary: €41,600 – €62,400

What you will do
- Apply human performance methodologies to the design of human-machine systems.
- Support the full product lifecycle including user needs identification, task analysis, and usability testing.
- Design and execute user research to simulate product use for concept selection and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize human-machine interfaces.
- Perform theoretical human factors investigations and implement research plans to mitigate technological risks.
- Conduct post-launch outcomes analysis to ensure continuous product improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
- Strong oral and written technical communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of human factors/usability engineering principles and tools.
- Experience with Figma for creating interactive graphical prototypes.
- Experience designing and validating software human-computer interfaces.
- Familiarity with product development processes based on IEC 62366.
- Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
