Lead Software Engineer (HP NonStop)

Location: Must be based in the US (Denver, CO); hybrid setup requiring at least 3 days in office

Salary: $163,500.00 – $261,500.00 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain HP NonStop servers using C, TAL, and TACL.
• Develop and test enhancements for Connex Advantage software on the HP NonStop Platform.
• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure products deliver real business value.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.
• Develop and validate test routines and schedules to mimic external interfaces.
• Utilize Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Requirements

• U.S. Applicants Only.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent advanced degree experience).
• In-depth knowledge of HP NonStop and Guardian OS.
• Proficiency in TAL, C, COBOL, SCOBOL, and TACL on the HP NonStop platform.
• 10-15 years of experience working on Connex/Efunds software.
• Good understanding of ISO8583 message formats.
