What you will do

• Create and modify electrical design drawings and 2D/3D deliverables using Bentley MicroStation and other BIM tools.
• Model electrical systems including duct banks, cable trays, grounding, and lighting for advanced power generation facilities.
• Perform basic engineering computations, material quantity estimates, and dimensional checks.
• Coordinate project deliverables with multidisciplinary teams to minimize errors and interferences.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with the BV Quality Program.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and able to complete pre-employment onboarding (background check, drug screen).
• Diploma or Certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design related technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in digital design software (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling), specifically Bentley MicroStation.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of electrical engineering principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with AGI32 for lighting design and illumination calculations.
