What you will do
- Lead UK regulatory operations for BCB Payments UK Ltd and BCB Markets UK Ltd, ensuring full adherence to policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Take full ownership of regulatory affairs, licensing, and direct engagement with the FCA.
- Drive the global compliance strategy for products and new licenses across the entire Group business.
- Partner with Product teams to embed compliance controls into the development lifecycle using a compliance-by-design approach.
- Provide strategic compliance advice to business stakeholders and represent the function in internal committees and working groups.
- Develop compliance management information (MI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for reporting to the UK Board.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience within the FCA-regulated payments, e-money, crypto, or banking sectors.
- 3-5 years in a senior leadership or Head of Compliance capacity.
- Expert-level knowledge of PSRs, EMRs, the FCA handbook, and safeguarding rules.
- Expert understanding of UK AML, CTF, and Sanctions regulations.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional strategic initiatives and motivate teams under pressure.
- Relevant professional certifications in Compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS).
